Renata Poljak Biography
Renata Poljak is a Croatian artist born in 1974. Living and working in Zaghreb with a variety of media including photography, installation, film and video, Renata Poljak uses images with strong metaphorical potential that refer to political, economic and social phenomena from the early 1990s to the present day. Her videos and installations often combine a documentary approach with fictional stagings to address the issues and representations of historical and contemporary migratory processes.
