Sous l'Azur exhibition booklet

The Sous l'Azur exhibition takes as its starting point a Hittite myth (the Hittite people were from Asia Minor and lived in the 2nd millennium B.C.) according to which, every evening, the sun would fall into the sea as it set. Sous l'Azur brings together the work of some twenty international artists, both historic and emerging, whose artistic practice has been nourished by a fascination for the Mediterranean Sea. The exhibition reflects the dreams and fears of the Mediterranean Sea, from the people who inhabit it to the dramas it witnesses.
