Biography
Born in 1995, Bachir Tayachi lives and works in Tunis. Through photography, video and drawing, Bachir Tayachi develops an artistic practice that captures extraordinary images drawn from the ordinary. Forging strong, unique relationships with the models he photographs and films, Bachir Tayachi seeks to highlight the complexity of the raw emotions that seize them, exploring their role in the construction of their identities.
During his month-long residency in Marseille, visual artist, photographer and filmmaker Bachir Tayachi is developing a project in line with his previous research. In particular, his RAW photographic series focuses on the construction of identity through multiple experiences, both positive and negative.
