Astrit Ismaili
Biography
Born in 1991, Astrit Ismaili is a multidisciplinary artist, performer and choreographer. For her residency at Triangle Astérides, she will focus on the pre-production phase of a science-fiction musical short entitled "The First Flower", which traces correspondences between the botanical world and queer communities, identifying common resilience strategies in the face of future ecological and political threats.
During this residency, Astrit Ismaili continues her research on her project The First Flower, which traces correspondences between the botanical world and queer communities, identifying common strategies of resilience in the face of future ecological and political threats. This project echoes the socio-political issues of migration, explored through the Art Explora Festival program.
