Embark on a journey to Alexandria, where you'll encounter its vanished treasures: The lighthouse, the seventh wonder of the world, its famous library, and its fabulous palaces. Mediterranean Wonders takes you back in time to an era when Alexandria's cultural influence stretched across the Mediterranean. During this voyage to the 1st century BCE, your guide will lead you through this incredible city, a crossroads of knowledge. You'll uncover its cosmopolitan structure, the characters that shaped its history, and the architectural achievements that earned it the admiration of the ancient world!
Explore the Acropolis of Athens during its splendor, vibrant and colorful! Mediterranean Wonders takes you back in time to admire the famous hill dedicated to Athena, at the peak of Athens' influence on the Greek world in the 5th century BCE. Throughout this journey, your guide will introduce you to this captivating sanctuary and its myths. You'll be able to admire the view from the summit of the Acropolis, the legendary sculptures now lost, and the temples whose perfection influenced architecture through the centuries. The city of the gods awaits you!
DISCOVERING THE GOLDEN AGE OF VENICE
Welcome to Venice, the birthplace of the Renaissance! Mediterranean Wonders transports you through the Republic of Venice during the 15th century, when the city was at the pinnacle of its economic, political, and artistic influence. During this journey, your guide will provide insights into the unique character of the city, a crossroads between the East and the West. You'll stroll across the Rialto Bridge, still made of wood at that time, visit the Basilica with the Doge in person, and take part in the exuberance of the Carnival. The Serenissima awaits you!

The Mediterranean Wonders experience lasts for about 20 minutes if you want to visit all 3 cities (Athens, Alexandria, Venice). A visit to a single city takes approximately 7 minutes.

Created in exceptional collaboration with the Musée du Louvre, this exhibition offers a reflection on the role and representation of female figures in the Mediterranean world, through an educational and sensory experience based on digital audiovisual technologies. The exhibition is divided into two parts:
An educational documentary on the aft deck
An immersive exhibition at the heart of the catamaran
Through a Sound Odyssey, Ircam and Ircam Amplify invite visitors to explore the sensations of the Mediterranean and discover new soundscapes, both imaginary and real.

Is there a specific dress code for visiting the museum boat?
For reasons of safety and preservation of the boat, high heels and stilettos may not be worn on the boat.
How do I get on board the museum boat?
The museum boat is open to all free of charge. To find out on which quay it will be moored, or to pre-book your slot, consult the page dedicated to your town.
Is the museum boat accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Appropriate facilities have been set up on the Festival site for the reception and access of people with reduced mobility. The boat is equipped with a 1m-wide ramp, accessible to people with reduced mobility, but may require the accompaniment of a third party due to its gradient of over 6%. Access to the aft deck and immersive exhibition is possible. However, the upper deck is not accessible. Please inform us in advance of any special accessibility requirements, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
