On board the boat, with the exceptional collaboration of the Musée du Louvre, Art Explora presents "Présentes", an immersive exhibition highlighting female figures in Mediterranean civilizations, through the collections of the Louvre. This digital experience combines education, art discovery and contemporary audiovisual technologies to offer a journey through millennia of history.
- A 10-minute documentary videoto discover on the rear deck, dedicated to the representation of women in the arts and cultures of the ancient Mediterranean. Based on an original script by Sophie Caron, this documentary sheds contextual light on works from the Louvre's collections. It takes visitors on a narrative journey from Mesopotamia to Roman Egypt, via the Greek world, to meet goddesses, priestesses, muses, artists, mothers, craftswomen, sovereigns and many other female figures, through the artistic and archaeological objects of these civilizations. Highlighting the variety of women's experiences, symbols, roles and attributes from one side of the Mediterranean basin to the other, this experience invites us to question traditional representations of women and their visibility in the history of these societies.
- The immersive exhibition, at the heart of the catamaran, where audiences are enveloped in a sensory experience. The research that gave rise to this immersive experience was developed by a polyphonic curatorial ensemble, made up of leading figures, artists and thinkers: Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (choreographer), Noëmi Daucé (curator, Department of Oriental Antiquities, Musée du Louvre), Simone Fattal (artist), Nicolas Saada (director), Daniel Mendelsohn (writer). Each of these figures has integrated historical and contemporary reflections on the lives of the Mediterranean into his or her own research.
Among its collections, the Louvre holds one of the most poignant testimonies: the voice of humanity's first poetess, the high priestess Enheduanna. One of her poems, dedicated to the praise of the great Mesopotamian goddess Ishtar, written in the first person, gives voice to a singular voice for the first time. While glorifying the power of her goddess, which manifests itself as much in anger and fury as in joy and gladness, Enheduanna looks back on certain painful episodes in her personal experience.
Under the aegis of this founding figure, the exhibition brings together faces and lives, from Egypt and Mesopotamia, Athens and Rome, to 18th-century sculpture, paving the way for an unprecedented discovery of the Musée du Louvre's collections and the feminine powers they conceal. Through these faces and lives, humanity is embodied, with its imposed violence and assumed freedoms, carried from one shore of the Mediterranean to the other.
Theexperience is thus based on emotion, discovery and immersion. It features sequences of strong, evocative works combined with dynamic visual transition effects that play with the perception of space, proposing a balance between contemplation and movement.
GRAPHICS eMOTION TO VISUALIZATION
From the earliest stages of the project, Graphics eMotion has been at the heart of the creative process, working closely with Art Explora Foundation and the Louvre's curators. As seasoned visual storytellers and creators of multi-sensory digital experiences, director Julien Abril and creative director Alexandre Poitras developed the concept, unique aesthetic and scenario for the exhibition. Drawing on the knowledge they have accumulated over the years working on spectacular artistic projects such as the Banquet at the Cité des Sciences in Paris and the Sangue e Arena show at the Colosseum in Rome, they designed each scene with particular attention to its emotional impact and immersive power.
The team digitized a large collection of artifacts from the Louvre and modeled them in 3D with a very high level of detail using the latest technologies. A team of talented, multidisciplinary artists created the immersive environments with digital animations and complex visual effects. They have created a poignant and spectacular experience that presents ancient works of art with a resolutely modern approach. Graphics eMotion is a multimedia company specializing in video mapping, visual storytelling, interactive installations and immersive experiences. They create powerful emotions through the fusion of art and technology. They are craftsmen of experiences, wonder and memories. The company aims to create unique artistic experiences using cutting-edge technologies, inspire people's imaginations by transforming their environment, and create virtual realities experienced collectively by the public. They strive to weave indissoluble links between artistic and technical innovation to create a web of new and captivating experiences.

Sailing for over two months along the coasts of the Middle East, Italy, North Africa and Southern Europe, equipped with scanners, antennas and recorders with technologically advanced hearing, Soundwalk Collective intercepted the accidental superposition of noises, music, voices, private conversations and public announcements, bouncing between boats, ships and the coast. The result is a musical map in continuous rearrangement, a polyphonic installation, the reflection of a sound archive.
Soundwalk Collective is the contemporary sonic arts platform of founder and artist Stephan Crasneanscki and producer Simone Merli. Working with a rotating constellation of artists and musicians, they develop site- and context-specific sound projects through which to examine conceptual, literary or artistic themes.
Evolving along multi-disciplinary lines, Soundwalk Collective has cultivated long-term creative collaborations with musician Patti Smith, late director Jean-Luc Goddard, photographer Nan Goldin, choreographer Sasha Waltz, and actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg, among others. In doing so, their practice engages in the narrative potential of sound across mediums such as art installations, dance, music and film.
Created in exceptional collaboration with the Musée du Louvre, this exhibition offers a reflection on the role and representation of female figures in the Mediterranean world, through an educational and sensory experience based on digital audiovisual technologies. The exhibition is divided into two parts:
An educational documentary on the aft deck
An immersive exhibition at the heart of the catamaran
Through a Sound Odyssey, Ircam and Ircam Amplify invite visitors to explore the sensations of the Mediterranean and discover new soundscapes, both imaginary and real.
