The dance performance 'Pré́lude' is the story of the encounter between the music of Romain Dubois and the physicality of the dancers. Like a prelude to Compagnie Accrorap's move into the Southern Region, this piece is an invitation from choreographer Kader Attou to a dozen professional hip-hop dancers from the region to invest in his artistic universe. This "all-terrain" show, presented here for the first time, is designed to reach out to all audiences, taking hip-hop dance to places where it is least expected.

Dancer, choreographer and artistic director of Cie Accrorap, Kader Attou is one of the leading exponents of hip-hop dance. With his humanist, outward-looking artistic approach, which fuses influences and breaks down barriers between genres, Kader Attou has helped to transform hip hop into a new dance scene, giving rise to an auteur dance that is recognized as a genuine French speciality. He has directed Cie Accrorap since 1996, which he founded collectively in 1989.
