Genc Elezaj is a musician and DJ living and working in Prishtina. Throughout his career in music creation he has contributed to various projects, spanning from writing songs in bands, to composing music for theatre pieces and film scores, to writing music for electronic music live acts — while simultaneously DJ-ing across local, regional and international events.
Genc tries to overcome genre boundaries, embracing a sonic identity that is both spiritual and urban, blending mystical influences with what one could describe as what staring at skyscrapers on a rainy day at 5 p.m. might feel like. His direction is always towards otherworldly atmosphere that lingers between the known and the unknown. The sound almost always carries an erotic and meditative quality—sensual yet introspective, inviting listeners into a state of connection and transcendence. Energetic yet immersive, his soundscape is a journey through contrasts, to say the least.
