Amari Alepha is a multicultural collective that moves between countries and cosmologies, traveling with a caravan to share its experiences through a fusion of video, music and magic. Led by artist Amie-Sarah Barouh, with support from Vila 31 x Art Explora, the collective engages with Roma communities, collecting stories that will be incorporated into their upcoming performance. The performance features traditional Roma songs, mixing acoustic and electronic instruments with a touch of jazz harmonization by Bogdan Stoian. In collaboration with local musicians from Baltëz, a small town rich in musical heritage, Amari Alepha seeks to revive and share the original music and style of the Albanian Roma.

The ensemble includes
Ladi Shacma - clarinet
Xhuljano Shacma - saxophone
Brahja Astrit - keyboard
Bogdan Stoian - violin and piano

In addition to their musical performance, Amari Alepha presents Rroma Archive, a project developed in collaboration with Roma activist Gimi Futrtuna, who has dedicated her life to improving the living conditions of the Rroma community in Albania. Through Rroma Archive, they aim to preserve and amplify the voices, stories and cultural expressions of the Roma people.
