CREEPUSCULE, a symbol closely linked to the idea of the West, the direction in which the sun declines, fades and dies. It expresses the end of a cycle and, consequently, the preparation of a new beginning. The great mythological feats that prelude a cosmic, social or moral revolution are accomplished during a journey to the West: Perseus trying to kill the Gorgon, Heracles overcoming the monster in the Garden of the Hesperides, Apollo taking flight among the Hyperboreans, etc. Twilight is a spatio-temporal image: a suspended moment. Space and time capsize in both the other world and the other night. But the death of one heralds the other: a new space and a new time will succeed the old. The march to the West is the march to the future, but through dark transformations. Beyond the night, we hope for new dawns. Twilight also symbolizes the nostalgic beauty of decline and the past. It is the image and the hour of melancholy and nostalgia. The twilight bar: a project, an atmosphere, a rendezvous, a project based on exchange, friendship and welcome.

Maquette is a novel to be published by Éditions P.O.L., in the form of a cosmogony of the world after. Its writing is accompanied by a series of readings made up of as many episodes as there are chapters in the manuscript. Hijacking the usual codes and reinvesting the soap opera system, these events aim to put the text to the test from different perspectives while it is still malleable, to connect a range of formats and contributions, and to use a variety of channels to set the mood for this fiction before publication. Publications designed in collaboration with Martin Desinde look back at each stage of the cycle, from an operetta off the coast of Marseille, a radio play between London and New York, to a simulation at the Louvre Museum. To mark the launch of these archive notebooks, a number of our collaborators have come together to discuss and share their experiences of the project.
Théo Casciani
Théo Casciani is an author. Born in 1995, he studied human and social sciences at Sciences Po and mathematics at the Université Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris, before joining the contemporary writing workshop at La Cambre in Brussels, where he now teaches. Rétine, his first novel, was published by Éditions P.O.L. in 2019. His fiction, translated into several languages and celebrated by several Award, has been presented in many forms in France and abroad.

Marseille shadow works
Marseille Shadow works is a collection of texts written and performed by Hugo Mir, composer and designer. They invite us to share intimate, cinematic moments in situationship with Marseille. Hugo Mir writes in the moment, to depict landscapes that navigate between introspection and locality, blending his music with his deep love of street culture.
Hugo Mir-Valette's musical and artistic practice is based on social interaction and knowledge of open data. After starting out as a designer, in his twenties he was struck by a degenerative disease combined with sleep disorders. In the absence of medical care, he discovered that music and natural vibrations could channel and critically improve his health. He now uses his skills and knowledge to sing alongside the voices of the South and other Mediterranean cultures, as a reflective conductor, developing media to create unique vernacular representations of Mediterranean ecosystems. His work with Josèfa Ntjam and the Aquatic Invasion team explores the futuribilities of music, as constantly evolving waves of sound without genre, without name, liquid data of the post-Internet, decolonial culture beyond assignment.

Immersive exhibition "Présentes
Created in exceptional collaboration with the Musée du Louvre, this exhibition offers a reflection on the role and representation of female figures in the Mediterranean world, through an educational and sensory experience based on digital audiovisual technologies. The exhibition is divided into two parts:
- An educational documentary on the aft deck
- An immersive exhibition at the heart of the catamaran
A sound journey in the Mediterranean by Ircam
Through a Sound Odyssey, Ircam and Ircam Amplify invite visitors to explore the sensations of the Mediterranean and discover new soundscapes, both imaginary and real.

Yes, the boat is freely accessible on site. However, you can pre-book your time online on our website.
For reasons of safety and preservation of the boat, high heels and stilettos may not be worn on the boat.
The museum boat is open to all free of charge. To find out on which quay it will be moored, or to pre-book your slot, consult the page dedicated to your town.
Appropriate facilities have been set up on the Festival site for the reception and access of people with reduced mobility. The boat is equipped with a 1m-wide ramp, accessible to people with reduced mobility, but may require the accompaniment of a third party due to its gradient of over 6%. Access to the aft deck and immersive exhibition is possible. However, the upper deck is not accessible. Please inform us in advance of any special accessibility requirements, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
