By inviting different artists, media, performers, all linked to Mediterranean sound/music cultures, in its popular, traditional and underground definition, to collectively create the soundtrack of the museum ship's voyage, echoing the different Mediterranean ports and ports of call.

20:00 - 21:00: Algerian Vinyl / Mounira Zerkine

Mounira Zerkine is a French-Algerian teacher, music lover and vinyl record collector. She spent part of her life in Oran, where, largely influenced by the raï of the 80s and 90s, she nurtured her interest in other musical styles from the country. Today she shares her passion and her collection under the name Algerian Vinyl on Instagram, highlighting the diversity of Algeria's musical heritage.

21:00 - 22:00: Live by Benzine

Benzine draws its inspiration from Algeria's Bedouin poetry, which it transforms into a fissile synth-rai that smells of exhaust fumes from the streets of Sidi Bel Abbes. Formed by Farid Belayat and Samir Mohellebi, the duo deploys sounds embroidered with synthesizer, drum machine, bass, guitar and a bowl of West Algerian instruments (sampled for the occasion) to plunge you into a rendering as frenetic as driving an Oranese cab at rush hour: tense, trance-like and danceable. Their debut album "Nawri" (bourgeonne in French) was released on March 21 on the La Navette label.
