The first route of the museum ship will be the Mediterranean, an area of millennia of history and exchange, which has always mobilized and nourished the inspiration of artists, and naturally invites intercultural dialogue.

The vibrant duo from Aita electro make their Tangier debut in a concert that sets the tone for the festival! Aïta Mon Amour is a duo made up of Widad Mjama and Khalil EPI . This project is the fruit of Widad's fascination with the ancestral Moroccan art of the Aïta, a popular musical genre rooted in the Moroccan countryside and sung by the Chikhates, the women guardians of a centuries-old tradition. Aïta, meaning 'cry' or 'call' in Moroccan dialect Arabic, embodies both the call of the warriors and the lament of love. This contemporary electronic musical project explores this rich tradition dating back to the 12th century. Aïta Mon Amour honors this oral art form with a desire to build bridges between past and present, to deconstruct the perceptions that define the genre, and to make it resonate in the contemporary, digital age.
