Sharing art and music with prison inmates is the ambition of the "Empreinte musicale" project, initiated by Johanne Cassar and Compagnie Coloratura and supported by Art Explora Foundation.
For several months, Johanne Cassar and instrumentalists from the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France conducted workshops with prisoners.
At the end of the workshops, a feedback concert was organized in Fresnes.
The participants also had the opportunity to perform a piece by Francesco Filidei, composed especially for the occasion, placing them at the heart of contemporary musical creation.
We're delighted to have supported this project with Radio France, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the French Prison Service and the Coloratura Association.
Find out more about the project article in Le Figaro and the Radio France report.
