Bar Tore is a curatorial concept by Arnisa Zeqo and Amantia Peza, presented in the form of a functioning bar. It welcomes idle chatter and body-to-body communication tactics. "Tore" is both a common suffix for the names of local social bars in Albania and a homage to Viktore, a special woman from the 90s.

Located in the heart of the village, Bar Tore embraces the many underground stories of bars as alternative spaces for community formation in Albania and Kosovo. Referencing iconic venues such as Bar Iliria in Tirana and Bar Janis in Prizren, the bar serves as both a site of artistic activation and a node of social memory.

Bar Tore hosts a variety of performances, poetry readings, and artist conversations. In collaboration with Radio Alhara, it plays music and streams live broadcasts. As part of its music program, Bar Tore also features Bar Tore Invites, a series of curated music playlists contributed by artists, collectives, and cultural workers from Albania and the region. These playlists provide a platform for voices from the cultural communities, offering a glimpse into the musical landscapes that shape the creative practices across the area.

Conceptualised and curated in collaboration with Rina Meta, these playlists act as sonic portraits, offering insight into the moods, rhythms, and cultural layers that influence the creative practices of cultural entities throughout the region.
